Customer Reviews about Susan B. Pollan

  • It's hard to believe there are negative reviews for this office or it's staff. I have been a long term patient of Dr. Pollan at the Pain Management Center of Attleboro and the ENTIRE staff has always been nothing short of spectacular. Doctor Pollan, the RN, LNA, and Secretary, (especially Sue and Lynne), are more than proficient at what they do, they're personal, attentive, caring, and understanding, with the most knowledge and know how of anyone else in their individual positions. They all carry a vested interest in the care and well being of their patients and provide absolutely nothing but the most professional treatment and comfortable atmosphere during your visits for the duration of your treatment plan with them. They are honest and hardworking professionals that tell you what needs to be done, with your best interest in mind, and provide you with the care you need. The Secretary goes above and beyond the average expectations and even provides you with reminders prior to your appointments stating the time and date of your next scheduled visit. This line of work requires an above average level of caution from it's practitioners and the HIGHLY respectable team of women at The Pain Management Center of Attleboro seem to perform with ease while providing patients the highest level of care with astounding professionalism displayed in every aspect of their practice.

Zero stars if it were possible. Rude, obnoxious, and no regard for you. Doesn't care about your pain, just your money. It's her way or no way, she is by far, the worst doctor and person i have met

I suffer from psoratic arthritis that is through out my body with some much joint damage as I went diagnosed for many years before they put it together that my symptoms was cause and linked to pcarisis. My feet are all hammered and bone spurs even after 4 surgeries on my left foot I still suffer from several pain daily. As well it effect my SI joint-L4,L4-L3, & herniated disc. I also have DDD and my neck is now starting to show symptoms of disc problems with my neck. After drs put me on morphine instead of an instant release and was on 160mg twice a day. My Dr wanted me to find a pain management Dr instead of him continuing my treatment. I called Dr Pollan's office and told them I only had a 30 day supply left and needed to find a pain management Dr as its so hard to find a Dr to prescribe. I waited 4 months to see this woman. She gave me quick look over even though u can see what an MRI or some xrays. Her office called me a week later and said the Dr has no "Plan" for my treatment and basically said she won't treat me even though I was brutally honest with my whole history. And being on pain meds starting with just tramadol in 2004 until 2008 and then had a grandmal seizure due to my Dr prescribing Prozac as well as tramadol. Cvs didn't say anything about potential effects that these meds can cause u to have seizures if u take any SSRI antidepressant with tramadol. Thats why they took me off it and started me on an ER morphine to take 2x a day. I wish they had never put me on morphine but I put my faith in my dr as they know what's best. Worst thing they could ever do in my eyes. I asked Dr Pollan to see if we could get me weaned down to a normal dose of whatever recommended and she would not treat me. She also wanted me to see an orthopedic Dr for my feet when a podiatrist is Dr that did all 4 surgeries on my foot. SMH if u are looking for any help or compassion DON'T even bothering with this place or Dr. I've tried calling a few times leaving messages asking if there's anything that I can do to have her take me on. This place doesn't even have the decentcy to return a call saying anything at all. I've never even met such a horrible Dr officer as this one. Waited and suffered for 4 months calling every week hoping there was a cancelation like they told me to do and still never got in before the 4 months. Horrible place. I even told her I was open to anything she wanted me to try. This is why so many people are running to hard drugs after these drs pushed all these narcotics in the first place then after 13 years I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!! I've finally have had to go to treatment for being Dependant on heavy meds and have to go everyday two towns away and I don't drive so I have to take 3 hours worth of public transportation everyday even though I'm in the same town as this Dr. Very very disgusted with trying to get well and get off these horrible drugs after so many years. I've never gone to the extreme of using Herion but I understand why so many people are addicted after same things losing their dreams or can't find one to help. Now after months of waiting for various drs spots I've caved and have seemed treatment at a addiction and dependence recovery program even though I don't have a car and severly disabled which is excruating pain and having to know travel. This dr is a complete waste of time

My wife suffered for months waiting for an appointment. With medical evidence from 3 of RI top orthopedic specialists in hand and MRI with medical evidence the Dr. refused to take over my wife's prescriptions but agreed to inject her with more steroids even though my wife has had 13 steroid injections with no success. Steroid injections are more profitable to the Dr. than keeping up with a patients existing pain prescription. BEWARE !!!!! When we called for the appointment 4 months ago she said the Dr would be able to take over my wife's prescriptions but the story changed after they billed us. BEWARE FOR THE SCAM !! They will say anything to get you in there than drag it out for as long as possible just for billing purposes. We hate to say it is a shell of a DR. office always empty very little patients a big difference from my wife's former Dr's office. We are going back to our original Dr. Thank you for wasting our time.
